OVERNIGHT SITES: THE CARAVAN CLUB Site closed We understand that the Club is very sorry to announce that Braithwaite Fold will be leaving the sites network with immediate effect. The Club has been in negotiation with South Lakeland council to try and secure a long term investment in this site but the council has rejected The Club's tender. If you are looking for an alternative site in the Southern Lakes for 2012, The Club has invested heavily in improving the fantastic sites in this area. Nearby is Park Coppice on the edge of Coniston Water and Meathop Fell close to Windermere and Coniston Water that were redeveloped in 2011, and Low Park Wood in Kendal in a wonderful wooded riverside location. Why not use The Club's search and book tool on the website to find one of these superb alternatives for a break in 2012.
